Booking Policies

How we schedule, confirm, and protect every clean

These booking policies apply to all cleaning services provided by The Clean Standard LLC. Please review them before scheduling.

1. Requesting a Quote

All services start with a free quote. You can request one by:

  • Calling or texting (508) 205-8810
  • Emailing info@settingthecleanstandard.com
  • Submitting our online contact form

We respond to every inquiry within 24 hours, often the same day during business hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm).

2. Walkthroughs

Commercial and recurring residential clients may receive an in-person walkthrough before service begins. Walkthroughs are free and carry no obligation.

3. Booking Confirmation

Once a quote is accepted, service is confirmed via written confirmation (email or text) that includes:

  • Service date and time window
  • Scope of work
  • Final pricing
  • Access details

4. Arrival Windows

We provide arrival windows rather than exact arrival times so we can deliver consistent quality without rushing. Most windows are 1–2 hours; STR turnovers are scheduled to specific check-in deadlines.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • 48+ hours' notice: No charge.
  • Less than 48 hours: May incur a 50% service fee.
  • Same-day cancellation: May incur the full service fee.

STR turnovers operate on tighter windows and have separate cancellation terms outlined during onboarding.

6. Lockouts

If our team arrives and cannot access the property within 15 minutes (and we cannot reach you), the visit is treated as a same-day cancellation and the full service fee may apply.

7. Add-Ons & Scope Changes

Add-ons (inside ovens, fridge cleaning, etc.) and scope changes must be requested at least 24 hours in advance so we can allocate the right time and team. Same-day add-ons are accommodated when possible.

8. Pets & Family

We are happy to work around pets and family in the home. For everyone's safety, please secure pets that may be reactive to vacuums or unfamiliar people.

9. Quality Concerns

If you are ever unhappy with a clean, contact us within 24 hours of service and we will return to address the issue at no charge.

10. Holiday Schedule

We observe major US holidays. Affected appointments are rescheduled in advance with as much notice as possible.
